Josh Johnson kept one word in mind as he rehabbed from reconstructive elbow surgery. Finish. "That was the word I put out there in rehab," he said. One encouraging sign that the Marlin still have hopes: Their starters are going deeper into games.
Eight days after right-hander Ricky Nolasco threw the organization's first complete game in nearly two years, righty Josh Johnson went the distance Wednesday in Atlanta.
"We got two on this road trip?" manager Fredi Gonzalez said after Florida's 4-1 win. "Watch out."
Johnson (4-0) allowed one run on four hits, striking out eight and walking three in his first career complete game.
