Genoa will be hoping to end a decent season on a high with a result at Atalanta on Sunday. The promoted side, currently in ninth-place, have suffered a slump in form since their topflight status was confirmed and have notched up three consecutive defeats. The Grifone had been expected to struggle in their first season back in the Serie A but, with the help of current top-scorer Marco Borriello (19 goals) and the impressive and versatile Abdoulay Konko, they have managed 13 wins, five of which away from home. Striker Marco Di Vaio, who returns from suspension, is expecting an open game this weekend. "The adversary will want to end the season well at home. They will be motivated as we will be," he said.
