The result also put a stop to a five-match unbeaten run for the 96ers that had seen cement their place inside the Bundesliga's top 10. Coach Dieter Hecking has called on his troops to end the season on a high against Energie Cottbus this weekend and claim the three points that would secure them an eighth-placed finish in the final standings. "We want to make something good happen," said Hecking. "We can look back on a successful season, but we want to get 49 points, it is clear."
